I definitely wanted the poster to be simple with the image taking the main attraction of it and not the text. I wanted the image to be the main attraction so the audience instantly can guess what genre it is and get to know what the film would be about to entice them. The image is going to be dark reflecting on horror with possibly red text, depending on how the image will come out. The image I wanted was of the witch with her cloak on with tall trees behind her, when the audience see the title of 'Hansel&Gretel' they will instantly know what the story is about and hopefully the image will be chilling enough to reveal that there is a twist in it. The film title will be big at the bottom of the screen and I want the tagline to be underneath it to support the horror side of the title. The release date will stand out as it is vital information that the audience will remember if there is few information on the poster and it is not cluttered. The website of the film will be at the bottom, this is good for the marketing campaign, the audience will want to go on it to look at the trailer and this is how its synergy works together. The production logo will be in the corner and hopefully not draw too much attention away from the image or the title as it is not the main focus even though it is important.
