Location lists

This is where we filmed a numerous amount of scenes in our trailer, we filmed the witch's house and Hansel and Gretel's house here. It was a good location as it had a spacious garden and the window in the kitchen faced directly over where Hansel and Gretel were playing, so it was perfect to shoot an over the shoulder shot. Since it was one of our houses, it was ideal because there was therefore no problems and we got to shoot without any interruptions. 

Here is Millbank bridge and this is where we shot Hansel and Gretel under the bridge hiding from the witch and many other scenes. We had to be extra careful in case any of the cast members fell into the stream, also because it was raining going down was even harder.We chose this location as it is very remote and it has a chilling atmosphere to it, since not many people come here it make the scenes look professional.  

Here is Millbank again and it is were Hansel and Gretel were running down the path. As you can see it is remote which makes the audience think  about what is happening. It also seems creepy the way no one is there and that is often common in horror films because it will scare the audience if no one is there to help. There was no problem shooting here as it is a public place and because its in the countryside, we didn't experience any interruptions.

Here is the witch's house, we thought this would be an ideal location because the trees around it make it look sinister and the cobbled path makes it look traditional and aged. Since it is in the countryside it fits in well with the chilling atmosphere we were trying to create.
